8. - 29 December: drive to Thanjavur (Tanjore)

Morning depart for Tanjore enroute visiting Gangaikondacholapuram (1/half hr and Darasuram and Kumbakonam and then on to Tanjore (1hr).  

On arrival check into Hotel Sangam and overnight stay.
